Malawi Couple Pardoned

After having been sentenced to 14 years in prison with hard labor for holding an engagement ceremony in Malawi in December 2009, Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga were pardoned Saturday by President Bingu Wa Mutharika, who ordered the immediate release of the two men on humanitarian grounds, reports the BBC.
